Bob Kevoian and Tom Griswold established "The Bob & Tom Show" in early 1983 at WFBQ in Indianapolis, Indiana. Their comedy-based early morning program is among the highest rated in American radio, and since January 1995, The Bob & Tom Show has been syndicated nationally.
In 1997, 1995, and 1993 Bob & Tom were presented with the "Oscar of Radio," The Marconi Award, from The National Association of Broadcasters, making The Bob & Tom Show the only radio program to have been awarded the Marconi award three times.
Each year since 1991 Bob & Tom have received the Billboard Magazine Radio Personality of the Year Award.
In 1994, Bob & Tom were awarded the State of Indiana's highest honor -- The Sagamore of the Wabash.
In 1996, Bob & Tom were awarded the National Chairman's Citation Award from the Leukemia Society of America for their efforts of raising money and awareness for the Leukemia Society.
Bob & Tom are well known for their charitable work. Their 23 comedy albums since 1986 have generated over $4 million dollars which they have donated to various local charities.
Bob and his wife have one young son, while Tom has produced recordings for comedians Heywood Banks, Rodney Carrington, Todd Yohn, and Paul Gilmartin.
